MSI makes everything from budget gaming laptops to desktop-replacement machines and slim business notebooks. They fail in different ways: a Katana tends to clog with dust, a Titan pulls a lot of power, and a Prestige is thin and full of glued parts. We repair them all at component level in our workshop.

Common faults we fix
- Overheating and loud fans – dust-packed heatsinks and dried thermal paste causing throttling and shutdowns.
- No power or no display – often a single failed component on the board; see laptop motherboard repair.
- Power jack and charging faults – loose barrel jacks on gaming models, and USB-C charging faults on Prestige and Modern laptops.
- Broken or flickering screens – high-refresh gaming panels and slim business displays. See laptop screen repair.
- Keyboard faults – per-key RGB keyboards and mechanical keyboards on Titan models.
- Cracked hinges – heavy lids on large gaming laptops can break their mounts.
- Battery problems – short runtime or a swollen battery lifting the trackpad.

Big gaming laptops, big power
Titan and Raider laptops use large power adapters and draw serious current when gaming. The power jack and the circuits behind it take a lot of strain, and a worn jack that arcs can burn the board around it. If your charger connection feels loose, or the laptop only charges at a certain angle, get it looked at before it causes further damage. We also check the adapter itself, since a failing brick can cause shutdowns that look like a laptop fault.
Thin models need care
The Stealth, Prestige and Modern ranges are slimmer, with memory often soldered and batteries held in with adhesive. That makes repairs more delicate. It also means a board fault can trap your files, so board-level repair matters, and our in-house laptop data recovery service is there if you need it.
