Battery, charger or laptop?
A laptop that will not charge does not always need a new battery. The fault can be the charger, the charging socket, or the charging circuit on the motherboard. We test each in turn, so you only pay for the part that has actually failed.
Swollen batteries
A battery that has swollen can push the trackpad or keyboard upwards or split the case. Stop using and charging the laptop and get it to us: a swollen battery is a fire risk and should be replaced promptly.
How the repair works
Tell us what is wrong and we reply with a quote, usually the same working day. We diagnose the fault and confirm the cost before starting, and most repairs are completed within one to two days.
