Component-level repair
Many repairers replace a whole motherboard when one small part on it has failed. Where they can, our engineers repair the board itself, replacing the failed chip, connector or power circuit, which usually costs less and keeps your laptop on its original board.
How our laptop repair works
Tell us what is wrong and we reply with a quote, usually the same working day. Your laptop reaches us by drop-off, courier or post, we diagnose it and confirm the cost before starting, and most laptops are repaired or upgraded within one to two days. It is then delivered back to you or collected.
Repair or replace?
A cracked screen, a failed battery, a broken charging socket or a slow hard drive is almost always worth fixing. With older laptops that need several expensive parts it can make more sense to replace them, and we will say so if that is the case.
Your files
Most repairs do not touch your files. If the drive has failed or Windows needs reinstalling, we can back up or recover your data as part of the job.
