Common MSI desktop PC faults
The faults we see most often are PCs that will not start, random shutdowns and restarts, blue-screen errors, slow performance, failed hard drives, power supply and graphics card faults, and overheating caused by dust building up inside the case.
Repair or upgrade?
An older PC can often be given years more life with a solid state drive and extra memory, for far less than the cost of a new machine. We will tell you honestly when a repair or upgrade is not worth doing.
How our desktop repair works
Tell us what is wrong and we reply with a quote, usually the same working day. The PC reaches us by drop-off or courier, and you only need to send the tower, not the monitor or keyboard. We diagnose it and confirm the cost before starting, and most repairs take one to two working days.
Your files
Most repairs do not touch your files. If the drive has failed or Windows needs reinstalling, we can back up or recover your data as part of the job.

A short history of MSI desktop PCs
MSI was founded in Taiwan in 1986 as a motherboard maker. Its gaming desktops are grouped into three tiers: MAG for entry level, MPG for performance and MEG for enthusiasts. Alongside them it makes PRO and Modern computers for work and Cubi mini PCs.
