Lenovo’s Yoga laptops are built to flex, fold and travel, which puts extra strain on hinges, screens and charging ports. Whether you have a slim clamshell or a 2-in-1 that flips into a tablet, we repair the fault properly in our workshop and get it back to you working as it should.
Laptop assessment is £45 + VAT, and you’ll have a fixed quote before any work starts.
Common faults we fix
- Stiff, loose or broken hinges – 2-in-1 hinges turn through 360 degrees and can crack their mounts in the lid or base.
- Touchscreen not responding – dead zones, ghost touches or a pen that won’t register after a drop.
- Cracked display – including OLED panels, which are thin and crack easily.
- Not charging over USB-C – a worn port or a fault in the charging circuit.
- Battery swelling or poor battery life – a swollen battery can push the keyboard up or split the case.
- Keyboard and trackpad faults – often after a spill. See our laptop keyboard repair page.
- No power – diagnosed and repaired at component level on the motherboard.

2-in-1 hinges and screens
Every time a Yoga 2-in-1 folds into tablet mode, its hinges and screen cable flex. Over time the cable can wear and cause flicker or a blank screen at certain angles, and a hinge that gets stiff puts stress on the lid until the mounts crack. Fixing the hinge early is far cheaper than replacing a broken lid. If your screen flickers only at certain angles, mention it when you book in, as it helps us find the fault quickly.
The dual-screen Yoga Book 9i
The Yoga Book 9i has two OLED touchscreens joined by a hinge and a detachable Bluetooth keyboard. A crack on either screen means replacing that panel, and both have to work together for the dual-screen features to behave. We test both displays, touch and pen input, and the keyboard pairing before it goes home.
FAQs
Can you replace just the glass on my Yoga touchscreen?
No. On Yoga models the glass, touch layer and display are bonded together, so we replace the full screen assembly. That gives a reliable repair.
My Yoga won’t charge. Is it the charger?
Sometimes. We test the adapter, cable, port and board, so you only pay for the part that has actually failed.
Can I post my Yoga to you?
Yes. Our courier and postal service works from anywhere in the UK.
