Sticking, repeating or dead keys make a MacBook hard to use. We repair keyboards on every MacBook, from 2015 to 2019 butterfly keyboards to the Magic Keyboard on the latest MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and MacBook Neo.

Keyboard faults we fix
- Keys that stick, double-type or do not respond.
- Butterfly keyboard faults on 12-inch MacBook, MacBook Air (2018 to 2019) and MacBook Pro (2016 to 2019).
- Keys or the whole keyboard not working after a spill.
- Backlight not working on models that have one.
- Touch Bar, Touch ID and power button faults.
- Trackpad not clicking, or a swollen battery pushing up the trackpad.
How we repair it
Sometimes a single key or a deep clean is enough. Where the keyboard is worn or liquid-damaged, we replace it. On many models the keyboard is riveted into the top case, so we replace the top case assembly and fit it with care. If liquid is involved, we also clean and check the logic board. See liquid damage repair.
